Azure Virtual Desktop

Azure Virtual Desktop provides virtualized Windows 10/11 desktops and applications from the Azure Cloud. Microsoft operates the control layer, while you use host pools in globally available, protected regions and scale resources as needed. Windows multi-session and usage-based billing reduce costs; existing Windows/Microsoft 365 licenses can continue to be used.

Network options such as Azure Private Link and RDP Shortpath increase security and connection quality, while familiar Windows environments accelerate acceptance. In addition, AVD can be operated on Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) – for data sovereignty, low latencies, and edge scenarios – and can be seamlessly integrated into our Azure Local offering.
