PaaS – customized platforms for application development

Running local IT environments for the development of your own applications causes a lot of effort and high costs. Our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering allows you to focus entirely on application development - we provide the platform you need for this, including programming environments, for you in the CompanyCloud - optionally in a private or public cloud. Without having to worry about system administration and maintenance yourself, your developers can also work on the same projects from different locations. This means you benefit from more efficient software development and a shorter time-to-market, while at the same time reducing costs because you don't have to set up your own data center infrastructure.

Customized PaaS installation for your application development

The technical basis of PaaS is our Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering, complemented by provided databases (Database-as-a-Service), for example Microsoft SQL as well as MySQL, and various development tools. Based on this ready-made data center solution construct, we provide you with a platform on which you can develop, test, operate, use and expand your own applications. Based on Windows and Linux operating systems, we support standard development tools such as .NET, Java, PHP, JIRA, Confluence, JBoss and Visual Studio, which we provide for you as an individual PaaS installation. Other tools, such as Microsoft Sharepoint or Active Directory basic services, content management systems (CMS), database services or tools for rights distribution, are seamlessly connected via interfaces. You thus benefit from a customized platform on which you can develop applications flexibly, securely and quickly.

Combine service models

Our PaaS offering can be perfectly combined with Software-as-a-Service and Desktop-as-a-Service offerings. For example, you can run a development platform in the cloud on which you provide your own applications as SaaS, such as an ERP solution like Mesonic WinLine. The application is then available to users virtually as DaaS on various stationary and mobile devices, such as PC, desktop, notebook or tablet.

Security first

Of course, we ensure the security of your business-critical data at all times: We operate our ISO27001-certified data centers on colocation space in Deutsche Telekom Group data centers in Frankfurt and Hamburg. This enables us to use cross-data center solutions for the provision of your platform. It also ensures that your data stored in the cloud remains securely in Germany and is always highly available.
