VMware Explore on Tour 2026 — Medialine Group Brings New Ideas Back from Frankfurt
Table of contents
From Las Vegas to Frankfurt: On October 13 and 14, 2026, VMware Explore on Tour brought the latest developments in private cloud, VMware Cloud Foundation, and IT security to Kap Europa. The Medialine Group was represented as a VMware partner and sponsor with its own booth. The focus was on technological innovations, one-on-one discussions, and the question of how companies can continue to develop their IT infrastructure in a secure, efficient, and future-proof manner.
Private Cloud: Greater Security and Control for Businesses
VMware Explore on Tour addressed key topics from the international VMware Explore event in Las Vegas and offered practical insights into modern IT environments through technical sessions, hands-on labs, and product demos. It became clear that VMware Cloud Foundation goes far beyond traditional virtualization. Automation, resilience, security, and the cost-effective operation of diverse workloads are increasingly taking center stage.
A particular highlight was the announcement of VMware HyperArmor. The new solution is designed to provide additional security for the hypervisor within VMware Cloud Foundation without interrupting running workloads. Together with VMware vDefend for network and workload security, as well as Avi Load Balancer with protection features for web applications and APIs, this creates a multi-layered security approach for the private cloud.
Finding the Right Solutions Through Direct Dialogue
With a team drawn from various divisions of the Medialine Group, we used the event to discuss specific requirements and projects with customers, partners, and technology experts. The focus was on modernizing existing infrastructures, suitable architectural concepts, and next steps that make sense both technically and economically.
The discussions and the in-depth knowledge gained about VMware Cloud Foundation provide valuable insights for our day-to-day work. To this end, the Medialine Group combines specialized expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and security with a holistic view of its customers’ needs. This allows us to evaluate new technologies in a targeted manner and translate them into viable IT concepts.
The insights from Frankfurt will also be incorporated into the discussions at EVOLVE 2026 on October 21. There, the Medialine Group will bring together key future topics such as AI, cybersecurity, modern data centers, and digital sovereignty—with the goal of providing companies with guidance for their next IT decisions.
