ELO EXPERIENCE Wiesbaden: Digitalization Meets Real-World Practice
Table of contents
On September 9, the Schlachthof Wiesbaden Cultural Center served as a gathering place for companies looking to make their document and business processes more digital, smarter, and more efficient. The ELO EXPERIENCE Wiesbaden focused on modern document management solutions, automation, and the use of artificial intelligence.
As a long-standing ELO partner, Medialine Group was also on site and used the event as an opportunity for face-to-face discussions with customers, partners, and digital transformation experts. One thing became particularly clear: Successful digital transformation does not begin with individual technologies, but with processes that create real added value in day-to-day work.
From E-Invoicing to AI
One focus of the event was on e-invoicing and the question of how companies can integrate legal requirements into their existing processes not only securely but also efficiently. The event also explored the possibilities of AI in document management—for example, in the processing, classification, and intelligent use of information.
Practical best practices demonstrated how digital strategies are already being implemented today and what potential this holds for companies. It became clear that automation and AI are most effective when they are specifically integrated into existing business processes.
AI: Between Innovation and Regulation
Another highlight was the keynote address by Prof. Christian Solmecke. In his talk titled “Does ChatGPT Need to Go Back to Kindergarten?”, he examined the implications of the AI Act for companies and clearly outlined the regulatory requirements that must be taken into account when using artificial intelligence in the future.
For us, the ELO EXPERIENCE was, above all, one thing: a day full of concrete ideas, exciting discussions, and new perspectives on how companies can future-proof their information and business processes.
Our conclusion: Digital transformation is successful when technology isn’t an end in itself, but rather makes processes simpler, information more accessible, and work more efficient.
