A report that makes our stance visible—and our impact verifiable

For the Medialine Group, sustainability is not a “nice-to-have” but a strategic success factor. As an IT service provider, we bear a special responsibility: digitalization costs resources – but at the same time, modern IT can enable enormous efficiency gains. We actively embrace this dual role and make it transparent in our sustainability report.

The report brings together our activities and priorities in the areas of environment, people (social issues), and governance. At the same time, we show how we embed sustainability in our daily work: in processes, projects, locations, and collaboration within the entire group.

Sustainability as a service advantage – for our customers and their future viability

What makes the Medialine Group special is that we don't think of sustainability in isolation, but consistently as part of modern IT strategies. Whether cloud migration, video conferencing and collaboration solutions, enterprise content management, or optimization of ERP and logistics processes – our projects help customers save resources, reduce emissions, and become more economically efficient at the same time.

This creates sustainability where it has the greatest leverage: in the interplay of technology, processes, and responsibility.

Stefan Hörhammer, COO of the Medialine Group, sums it up:

Highlights from our report

The sustainability report shows that sustainability at the Medialine Group is not just theory, but a living practice with concrete results. Key successes include:

  • Green data centers: 100% renewable energy – as well as highly efficient operating values (e.g., PUE below 1.25 in Frankfurt)
  • Sustainable mobility: a large part of the vehicle fleet already electrified, including charging infrastructure at locations
  • Social commitment: support for numerous non-profit organizations and employee-initiated projects close to their hearts
  • Training & development: strong promotion of young talent and further training via the group's own academy
  • Resource-efficient working: paperless processes, hybrid working models, and efficient location concepts

Governance & structure: Responsibility needs a system

Sustainability can only be measured if it is structurally anchored. That is why the Medialine Group relies on clear processes and standards – including certified management systems (e.g., quality, information security, and environmental management). At the same time, flat structures create space for employees to take responsibility and initiate their own initiatives – from large programs to “small projects with a big impact.”
