Herzensprojekt in Coswig: Medialine Group Supports Digital Learning at the Peter Rosegger Special Education Center
Table of contents
With a €1,000 donation toward new document cameras, the Medialine Group is making lesson content at the Peter Rosegger Special Education Center in Coswig more visible, tangible, and accessible to everyone - yet another example of how our group’s "Herzensprojekte" make a tangible difference in everyday life.
Digital support that makes a difference in the classroom
Effective teaching depends on conveying content in an understandable way—and that’s exactly where the new document cameras come in, which the Friends of the Peter Rosegger Special Education Center in Coswig were able to purchase with the help of the Medialine Group. Books, worksheets, drawings, or visual aids can be projected directly onto the interactive whiteboard, making them visible to all students at the same time.
Such solutions make a noticeable difference, especially in everyday school life: content becomes larger, clearer, and easier to follow. In this way, the Medialine Group supports not only modern forms of learning but also the dedicated work of local people who shape education every day with great passion.
"Herzensprojekte": Commitment from Within the Group
The support in Coswig is part of the Medialine "Herzensprojekte". Since 2023, the Medialine Group has been supporting regional and social projects that employees themselves initiate or actively support—ranging from clubs and social institutions to educational and inclusion projects.
What makes this special is the personal connection: Employees from across the Group can submit projects twice a year that they or their families are deeply committed to. This way, commitment isn’t abstract, but happens right next to the people who need support—and the colleagues who take responsibility.
Taking Responsibility, Making an Impact
For the Medialine Group, the "Herzensprojekte" are a key part of its sustainability strategy. Around 50 diverse projects have already been supported since the initiative began—with financial or in-kind resources deployed exactly where they’re needed.
The project at the Peter Rosegger Support Center exemplifies what this approach can achieve: technology is not used as an end in itself, but helps people in their daily lives. This is exactly what the Medialine Group stands for—IT with a purpose, a commitment to the local community, and employees who work together to make a positive difference.
