Apprentice Welcome Days 2026: Starting Out Together, Shaping the Future

A week full of new impressions, encounters, and shared experiences: This year’s Medialine Group Trainee Welcome Days took place from September 21 to 25, 2026. During the event, our new trainees and students not only got to know the corporate group and their points of contact, but also learned what makes collaboration at Medialine special: team spirit, personal responsibility, and a passion for the future.

Arrive, Get to Know Each Other, Get Started

To kick things off, the focus was first on settling in and getting to know one another. After a group lunch and the official welcome, the newcomers gained exciting insights into Medialine Group’s purpose, vision, and mission. Our executive teams also introduced themselves in person and provided an initial glimpse into the various divisions and perspectives within the group.

Over the following days, the focus was on one thing above all else: getting to know the people and discovering the world of Medialine. Through introduction rounds, workshops, and group activities, a solid foundation for future collaboration quickly took shape.

From AI to Infrastructure: Experiencing IT Up Close

Of course, a look at our technological world was also a must. Among other things, participants explored the role of AI in everyday work, learned how to critically evaluate AI results during a fact-checking session, and gained behind-the-scenes insights during a tour of the infrastructure and data center.

The focus wasn’t just on technology, but also on the question: How can I apply my knowledge in my daily work and continuously develop myself? A workshop on effective learning and individual learning planning provided concrete ideas for this.

Teamwork, Responsibility, and Real Challenges

The escape game demonstrated, if anything, that good collaboration is more than just working together. Finding solutions together, communicating, and overcoming challenges as a team—these are precisely the skills that will play a key role in their future careers.

The program was rounded out by workshops on compliance and responsible conduct, as well as an alumni session where former trainees shared their personal experiences and insights. This allowed our newcomers to learn firsthand how their own career paths can unfold at Medialine Group.

A Shared Start with a Future

The Welcome Days are thus much more than a traditional orientation week. They provide an opportunity to get to know the people, culture, and work style of the Medialine Group, ask questions, and start building your own network.

After five intensive days, our new trainees and students returned to their respective teams, taking with them many new impressions, new contacts, and the experience of a shared first week.
