As far as I know, the only weapons our Lord Jesus used were his message and also a whip when he drove the moneychangers out of the temple.

I think this painting is dopey.

It Historically inaccurate. They didn't have guns during the times of Jesus. Nor did he ever set foot upon American soil. [Roll Eyes]

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. Rev. 7.17

3 He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rifle and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Tripe--He probably looked more like Gabe Kaplan than as He is often depicted in paintings. I believe Mr. Kaplan is Jewish, as was our Lord.

Okay, deep strange thought here.

If God made us in His image, wouldn't that mean Jesus would resemble all of us in some matter?

I mean, after all, He is the Son of God, right?

Does Jesus appear differently to each of us?

I have sometimes seen what I believe represents Jesus in my dreams. Usually in the form of someone I've lost -- one of my oldest and dearest friends, or my grandfather, or a news anchor I looked up to who died when I was a teenager. Really, though, how far off could that be?

After all, if God is omnipresent and omnicient and allpowerful, who's to say Jesus isn't a chameleon?

Okay, I'll back away from the caffeine now.
