It would be one thing if the teacher was in the photos with the Presidents, but seeing that appears not to be the case, I think it is inappropriate.

Of course you wouldn't.

Moonbats have one set of rules for themselves and another for everyone else.

Unfortunately, this woman is probably the only advocate for the right of center point of view in the entire public education system.

And, knowing the left-wingers, they will try to have her killed and dismembered. That's what they do. Tolerance and diversity are buzz words moonbats use to disguise their own pathetic agendas and to ridicule those of anyone they don't agree with.

Dude, two posts before yours... this is what I said:

And yes, I'd say the same if it was a bunch of Democratic propaganda and unflattering views of the opposition.
I answered your question before you even posed it.

Damn, I'm good.

Or you're just predictable.

Why not ask the teacher what her intent is with her one-sided display?

Rugen--get your facts straight. I don't hate public education and you know you're posting a falsehood when you say that. It concerns me that someone who can't get facts straight is teaching.

Teachers should not try to indoctrinate students to their point of view, no matter what it is. That's not their job. Pure and simple.

By the way, "little" is spelled with two t's.

Maybe it's Republican month, and next month is Democrat month. I don't know about you, but I don't think it's something that should be allowed.

Why don't you report what you observed to the school board????

I'll tell you one thing for sure. It definitely wasn't a typo. I really don't know how to spell simple words. It's a disease.

That's how I treat the children in my class when they point out inconsequential mistakes. Unlike most Medialiners, they only do it once.

How did she respond when you asked her about the display?

I would never ask her about the display. She's a great teacher and a good person. I have a great deal of respect for her and believe it's her perogative how she decorates her room. I know that her teaching materials are well balanced as are her tests, which is what really matters. Teachers, a lot of the time, are like independent contractors. We get our room keys, a copy card and a list of what the kids need to know and then we're pretty much on our own as to how we should get there. Class decorations and many teaching materials often come out of our own pockets. I don't fault the teacher one bit for using the material she had on hand to decorate her room.

It sounds as though your "litle education question" might be better phrased as a little judgemental question.

Yeah, I'm with Rex.

Why is it you can't ask a question of someone you admire and respect?

You guys missed the point. I wouldn't confront the teacher because I have such respect for her AND I don't see a problem with the display. The reason I posted the question was because I wanted to see the response of Bush conservatives when the perceived bias favored them.

And you displayed you own bias in the process. If you do not question, you can expect to live with incorrect and misleading information. Sometimes that is intentional in order to excite curiousity.
