My son would be a nephew to my brother and sisters.
They would be uncle and aunts, to him, respectively.

He has given me a beautiful grand-daughter.

Would she be a grand-niece to my brother and sisters since I'm am grand dad?
What relationship would she be to my brother and sisters?
I've never understood the cousin concept, hence the question.
Please, no snide comments or innuendo.

I'm asking sincerely.

Agree with the above.

I have a great-aunt Ada who matches exactly the relationship described above. I am her great-nephew. She turns 100 this July. It'll be the biggest party the village of St. Jacobs, Canada has ever seen. [Wink]

She's sharp as a tack, but has bad arthritis in one hand. Two years ago, when Ada's doctor said he wanted to administer a steroid shot in her hand to relieve the pain, she said, "Steroids? Well, this means I'll never be in the Olympics."

HA!

Randy, please pass along my best wishes and a happy natal anniversary to great Aunt Ada. Just a message of congratulations from an admiring stranger. She sounds like she's got it all goin' on!

Yes, they would be Great aunt/uncle but some people use the term Great grand aunt/uncle which is the same thing.and your aunts/uncles would become 2nd great aunts/uncles

I had a Great Grandma who lived to be 103, but was ready to go at 94 years old. She lvied a full life, still active up to 102,just slower at it.lol

And now a poem for enjoyment lol

I am my own Grandpa...

By Dwight B. Latham
and Moe Jaffe

Many many years ago when I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow who was pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.
This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.

To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.

For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.

My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She's my grandmother, too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.

For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa!

I currently have a great-aunt that is 103. She hasn't been doing that well lately.

I thank you all for the answer.
She's gonna be a heart breaker in later years.

"Great" never came to mind.

Happy New Year.
