What are some old tv shows that should be turned into movies? I liked the old show Branded with Chuck Connors but I think Hollywood would find some way to **** it up.

Gotta be WKRP in Cincinnati. Of course, they'd try to cast Jessica Simpson as Jennifer.

They'd have to make it a period piece, like Anchorman . If they set it today, it wouldn't work since radio has morphed into mega stations under one roof and satellite subscription services.

Plus, the movie would have to start with the firing of veteran news anchor Less Nessman if it were set today.

I'm assuming that you are joking and you realize that "Stargate" and "M*A*S*H" were movies first...?

I am assuming that you are joking, in that you neglected that "Dead Zone" was a movie first as well.
