WORK EXPERIENCE
XM Satellite Radio, Morning Show Host, MLB XM 175 [2005-2009]
First voice heard on the launch of the MLB Network. Hosted morning
show with Buck Martinez and Larry Bowa. Structured
the format of the program, produced content and developed quality
relationships with MLB personnel and players. "Baseball
This Morning" grew to have the largest audience of any program on
MLB Home Plate. Originated "Baseball Confidential,"
a one hour exclusive interview with Hall of Famers such as Cal
Ripken, Tommy Lasorda and Tony Gwynn. Presented live
programming from the MLB Playoffs and World Series sites, the MLB
Winter Meetings, Spring Training and the Hall of
Fame weekend in Cooperstown. Play-by-Play voice for the first World
Baseball Classic and the 2005 Futures Game.
FOX Sports Radio, Syndicated Morning Show Host [2001-2005]
Hosted the innovative "Mark Patrick on Sports." One of only two
syndicated early morning sports shows in America.
Generated immense growth by tripling the number of affiliates to over
150 by 2005. Interviewed guests, analyzed teams and
players and facilitated a relationship with listeners that reinforced
the unique elements of the program.
Bob and Tom Show, Syndicated Performer and Writer [1987-2005]
Wrote and performed radio content for the nationally syndicated
program. During tenure, show grew from a local show in
Indianapolis, to over 150 affiliates and won 6 Marconi awards.
Created original characters and conceived comedy content
for the show. Work appeared on 15 Cds that have generated hundreds of
thousands of dollars for charity.
WISH-TV, Sports Director/Anchor [1990-1999]
Responsible for writing, producing and anchoring 3 daily sportscasts.
Station rose to dominant number 1 position during
tenure. Led and managed a staff of 5. Evaluated performance, assigned
tasks and orchestrated schedules for the sports
department. Won 8 consecutive "Best Sportscaster" awards. Rewarded
by AP with "Best Play-by-Play" honors for 7 consecutive
years.
Game Show Host - Hoosier Lottery [1989 - 2003]
Created the role of Host for the debut of the longest running,
highest rated Lottery show in the United States. Watched by
over 1 million viewers per week in 5 states for 14 consecutive years.
Other work experience includes doing color for Indianapolis Colts TV
and Radio Broadcasts for 6 seasons. TV play-by-play
for the Arena Football League, College Basketball, HS Football and
Basketball.
